Alaska Memories
This quilt captures memories of a special trip to Alaska with friends. Each row represents memories - northern lights, snow
on Denali, panels of towns visited, the four of us who traveled together, whale watches and a panel from a local artist
of a quilt circle.

Given a set of hand-pieced Grandmother's flower garden blocks, I wanted to design a more modern use for this traditional block.

A bright, modern quilt featuring a traditional hourglass block.
Tumbling Cubes
Tumbling 3-D cubes for the engineer in my life! Quilting in the ditch to emphasize the cubes and background echoed swirls. Design based on "ABC 3-D Tumbling Blocks...and More! by Marci Baker.
Christmas Twinkle
An original design. This Nine-patch and Star sampler was made using bits remaining from a larger project. Detailed quilting includes feathered wreaths, micro-quilting, orange peels and pearls.
Reverberations
Fun with half-square triangles and curvy line quilting.
Whimsy
Made on a whim! It was fun using traditional blocks in solid fabrics and (sometimes) juxtaposing the white as either the main fabric or the background fabric.
Quilted using a variety of motifs with feathers featured on the teal green offset sashing.
Modern Log Cabin
A modern take on the log cabin block. Quilting in the ditch, swirls, straight and curvy lines.
Scrappy Four-Patch
An original design to use up some scraps and an opportunity to play with the quilting. Quilting includes free motion and ruler work.
Solid Starburst - Kimberly Einmo Mystery Quilt
This quilt was a Mystery Quilt class with Kimberly Einmo at MQX New England in 2014.
Quilting is free motion with feathers, swirls, orange peels and straight lines.

A profusion of spring blooms watered by the April rains. This design was also inspired by "Drifters" and is the third panel in the series. Made from my own hand-dyed fabrics.

This wall hanging combines strip and curved piecing using an autumn leaf fabric as the focus.

This quilt was made from a kit (something I rarely do) and features beautiful fall colors and applique.
The quilting includes feathers and custom quilting in the borders.
All Bundled Up
A celebration of winter's play, this wallhanging was modified from a Patrick Lose pattern to include 2 boys, representing each of my sons. Brings back memories of years past when they bundled up to play in the snow.
Portland Head Lighthouse
This quilt was made to celebrate a friend's birthday and thank her for the many "Girls' Weekends" that she hosted on the Cape.
Pineapple Welcome
This mini-quilt features paper-pieced pineapple blocks, applique and hand-embellishments.
Machine quilted with straight lines and outline stitching around the applique.
Library Children's Room Quilt
A celebration of Children & Young Adult Authors & Illustrators. A community quilt - each quilter interpreted an author/illustrator's work. This quilt is on permanent display in the Library Children's Room.
